Análise dos indicadores de desempenho de uma unidade de saúde da família e a aplicação de ferramentas da gestão da qualidade
Abstract
Introduction: the Unified Health System establishes Primary Health Care as the main gateway for users to access health services. From this perspective, to promote and evaluate the quality of management of this level of care, the Previne Brasil Program was established, which seeks to carry out financial transfers based on weighted capitation, team performance, population planning and incentives for strategic actions. Objectives: To describe the experience of nursing students in applying quality management tools in a Family Health Unit, based on the analysis of performance indicators of health teams. Methodology: this is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, developed by nursing students from Faculdade Uninassau Petrolina, Pernambuco. The experience took place from February to June 2024, in which the students completed the activity proposed by the nursing course discipline during the Supervised Curricular Internship. Results and discussion: the analysis based on the results of Previne Brasil for the third quarter of 2023, in which we verified a greater deficit in the indicator that refers to the performance of glycated hemoglobin tests to identify diabetic patients. After developing and applying the quality management tools, the results were presented in detail to professionals, providing solutions for the main deficiencies identified. Conclusion: extramural activities highlighted the relevance of quality management for solving problems, contributing to the academic training process and impacting the quality of health care.
