As enfermidades psíquicas na saúde dos professores em período pós-pandêmico: uma revisão integrativa
Abstract
It is well known that teaching work causes significant damage to the physical and mental health of teachers. Given this fact, this integrative literature review was undertaken with the general objective of investigating what studies published in 2023 reveal about illnesses affecting teachers' mental health, considering whether the thematic approach refers to the pandemic period or the regular period. The specific objectives of this study are: to identify scientific works in Google Scholar that address the theme of mental health, classifying them as studies conducted during the pandemic period or the regular period; and to analyze the abstract, data analysis, and final considerations of each text, considering the complaints, causes, and mental pathology collected in each study. The database accessed for the search for evidence was Google Scholar. The publication period of the articles covered was from January to December of the respective year to answer the guiding questions: How did scientific works address the mental health of teachers in the post-pandemic period? What illnesses were identified as mental illnesses? Among the various texts analyzed, it became evident that stress, culminating in the diagnosis of Burnout Syndrome, and anxiety are the mental health conditions that most affected teachers this year. The illnesses reported in the post-pandemic period are the same as those that existed before the pandemic.
