(In)eficácia das políticas públicas para promoção da igualdade racial
Abstract
The article aims to investigate the effectiveness of public policies that aim to promote racial equality in Brazil, through the deductive method by legal literature review (books, scientific articles and others), Human Rights Treaties, the promotion and encourage of a political agenda for the creation of governmental and non-governmental actions aimed at achieving formal equality. Thus, the present work also seeks to analyze laws, principles of law and court decisions, and to contribute to the debate on affirmative, evaluative and repressive actions to combat racial inequality and racism, and to highlight possible flaws in the implementation of these public policies, to guarantee the exercise of rights to black citizens in Brazil.
