Competências em preceptoria: uma revisão integrativa sobre as intervenções educativas para a qualificação de preceptores

Abstract

Introduction: The qualification of preceptors is an essential aspect of the process of teaching and evaluating residents, students and the development of effective preceptorship and the quality of in-service teaching. Objective: To present and summarize educational interventions aimed at qualifying preceptors to develop preceptorship skills. Methodology: This is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out by means of an integrative literature review including original articles, available in Portuguese, English and Spanish, in full text, free of charge, within a time frame of 5 years, with an approach aimed at explaining the results of educational interventions aimed at training/qualifying preceptors. Results: Nine articles were selected which addressed the results of educational interventions for the qualification and development of preceptors, with regard to the acquisition of skills and competencies for the exercise of preceptorship, the locations of the studies were: Brazil, the United States, South Korea and Singapore, in relation to the target audience of the interventions, these were aimed at the categories: medicine, nursing, pharmacy and multiprofessional team, the educational interventions addressed in the studies focused on the development of didactic-pedagogical and emotional-psychological competencies. Conclusion: The interventions presented in this study focused on the development of didactic-pedagogical and emotional-psychological competencies in preceptorship, as well as presenting strategies for preceptors to adhere to training programs. In addition, this study portrayed educational interventions aimed at qualifying preceptors with different methodological approaches and didactic resources, which will allow them to be applied and/or adapted to different preceptorship contexts.
