Simulação no processo de ensino-aprendizagem em atenção primária no curso de enfermagem
Abstract
Scientific evidence demonstrates that simulation as a teaching strategy has excellent results in the teaching-learning process, with a positive perception by students. Thus, higher education institutions should encourage the use of active methodologies, increase the training of theachers and develop institutional structures for carrying out the simulation. This study presents simulation experiences in the teaching-learning process in primary care in the Nursing Course at Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá. The theachers of a nursing course, since 2019, develop activities simulating the various types of care provided in Primary Health Care. It was possible to highlight some experiences such as the role of nurses in the vaccination room, home visits using remote teaching technologies and everyday situations experienced by nurses in primary care. The simulations were carried out following the steps: preparation (comprises the briefing), participation (development of the experience in the scenery) and debriefing (analytical process). After these 3 steps, evaluations were made of each of the experiences with positive results, in which the students highlighted that the learning was effective and that they would like more opportunities for simulation and theoretical-practical reflection. In the disciplines developed in the APS, the simulation, used as a tool to assist in the learning process, has been shown to be effective as a trigger of interest in the topic addressed, leading the student to study and perceive the details that will make a difference for the safe practice in the experiences of the Primary Attention.
